6L6 tubes in a CCV

Anybody try 6L6 tubes in their CCV yet? Not sure if there's enough bias range in the supply without changing bias resistor. I know Mark had CCV shipped at one point with them in it.

OK, it does have enough bias range to drop in some 6L6's. Didn't like it though. 34's back in.....
 
Damn, I was hoping for a new love affair with the CCV from you Steve.... :lame:

Those Golub's rip, especially done on a JMP as opposed to the 90's S/L's. If you want a kick ass Aldrich mod from Mark, I got one more here from the 90's done on a late 70's JMP. It romps too, like the Golub, but with depth and resonance control on the rear panel. My OCCV can cover the tone, so it is aging like fine wine.
