7 String Recommendations Needed

In the market for a new 7 string, 27" scale preferred.

I really like the ESP stef carpenters but they're very expensive and hard to find.

Looking for some suggestions with a budget up to approx $2,900 USD.

My next 7-string will most certainly be another Solar. I love my E-type enough that I have no problem ordering another one. I’m not sure if they have a 27”, they’re standard 7’s are 26.5” but they have a few different scale lengths and multi scales. I’ve got an Ibanez RG7620 now and those are pretty damn tough to beat, but I want to go up in scale length.

Actually, this one is on my current list of potentials for when my bonus comes up-

I've got a Schecter Banshee Mach 7 FRS with 26.5" scale. It is my first and only 7 string, its very a nice guitar. That said, through playing it, I've learned I am not a 7 string player and I don't have the time or desire to learn to be one... In my playing I have a lot of fun doing arpeggiated runs on it becuase it plays really great, but I havent figured out good ways to incorporate the 7th string for chords, so its gotta move on.

Getta ibanez RG 7 stringer change the pups to Lundgren M7 and there ya have a metal & shred machine !!

This times 1000. Made this mistake myself. I realized 7s are totally not my thing.

One of my guitars is set up in A# for my bands stuff on six strings with 13-56s and a wound 3rd and that’s plenty low for me.
 
EBMM Sterling, Ibanez and Schecter have a few 7 and 8 string options that are reasonably priced, IMO
 
Try to find someone selling an Ibanez 7621 in Vampire Kiss for cheap. And then when you find that, message me and sell it to me.

I'm a strange player... weird tunings, drop tunned.
I like playing around A and lower.

Not looking for a fast/shred type guitar at all. That's not me

The 8 string feels good and nice to play for me so i'm confident I'd like a 7 too

I seriously say go 8 string , it’s the perfect guitar . It’s the dream instrument. I think j custom Prestige are the perfect guitars .

Yup... i now like its wide radius and the cutaways are every shredders dream huh !

I only love them more than other guitar I’ve tried . From $5000 to $7000 guitars . I love amps for getting different sounds but these guitars ended my search for other guitars . So I can focus on smps lol . But I didn’t like ESP 8 strings .The Shecters were ok but the cut aways were bad .

5k to 8k guitar wow.... i been an ibanez guy too but in the past i never like them as i always think Jackson sl2h or sl1 are the holy grail in my opinion.... but i did get back to my RG3327FX replace the stock dimarzio with lundgren M7 and the ibanez just shines !! At first i thought the africian mah on it is dark but after slamming in the M7 i tasted how nasty the ibanez is now.... the M7 added abit of the high end zinc tone no other pups does and with good tight lowend, no mid hump, i like it being a bit compressed and fun to play, a crazy chug machine and a shredder guitar ! Connects it up with my UL and Wizard MC2 and Hybrid MTL are my best tonez i have lol... but the Lungs didnt like D120...

Now i thinking if i should getta Ibanez J custom or get an old RG7620 basswood body ... i just didnt gel with the suhr modern i got... its a shred tone crazy guitar but not every bit metal enough.... its cutaway not as dreamy as the Ibanez...
