I'm running a 70s Marshall loaded down via a THD Hot Plate with the 4 cable method into the Axe-Fx' efx loop. And then using a cab block instead of a speaker. Sending the whole thing into 2 powered wedges...
Volume is way low as you can hear when you compare it to the speaking voice or the phone ringing about a third in...

Guitar is a Rahbek Cos-T

Not only do I love you because you are ....Well You.... But to see and hear you play Sykes was just off teh Chart for me!!! Love ya strudel!!!.....:inlove:

I need to get me some wedgies... I mean Wedges!!! (I need to try this to!!)
AND WE ALL FALL DOWN.....!!!

killer! I'll have to experiment with this when I get another axe

Ed that sounds killer! Would it work if I loaded down one of my plexi's with a Hotplate, sent to fx then to one of those powered wedges like you got? Just wondering how flat those wedges are and if they need speaker simulated sounds going into them.

You mean for wet/dry? They do need a cab sim...that said why not mic your 4x12 send that to the fx and then to the wedge? The Landau/Carlton approach.
We can always get together and you can try it, seeing that we're what like 30 minutes from each other.

Guitar into the Axe-Fx, into OD, comp, etc blocks, into fx loop block, out to fromt of the amp, amp's speaker out into Hot Plate, HP's line-out into Axe's fx return into delay/verb block into Atomic powered wedges.

JCM 800 clone with fx loop and a 4x12 with some effects. I'd love swap and be using one of my plexi's live. I thought if I could use plexi>hotplate>fx>Atomic powered cab that would be pretty cool. All I need is to carry another head to do all that anyway, I guess I'm just being lazy!

Heck, for that run a Red Box off the Plexi before the HP into a powered wedges and call it a day...
