Anybody run both together? I am waiting on a 4x12 cab and I am going to be running them together, I just wanted to know what A/B-Y box/pedal I should use for this.
I have heard its a good idea to run an active pedal that has a ground lift.
Whats everyone else use here?
Any videos of both together btw?

THE question. Could this turn into the be all end all thread? LET THE LINE BE DRAWN HERE AND THE BLOOD SPILT TONIGHT!!!

I haven't used it, but the Y-Not looks real nice. I believe it can be ordered such that you can flip the phase via MIDI, so when you're changing channels with both amps running, you can make sure that you're in phase each time.

What are you talking about?

Uncle Mo will know............................................
:hys:

I'm here... I'M HERE!!!! BRING IT!!!!

Leave it to bananaladonpcp to slip my handle into this potential mess

Use this between amps - works like a charm:

Great lil' box.

As for the actual A/B of the VH4 and the Herbert. This is like Armageddon mate. Beware. You're on the verge of conjuring a potential end of time alchemy. I'd be very, very careful with this experiment.

And I mean, seriously, the VH4 is fine on its own

Uncle Mo

I use RJM Y-NOT its midi controlled which is good for me since i have become very midi inclined since owning Diezel amps

Radial engineering JX-2 works good for me. Has ground lift and polarity switch. It also has a boost if needed.

For he who sheds his blood with me on this St. Crispin's Day is truly my brother. Those who sat home with their Dual Rectos and their 6505+'s will think their manhood cheap and meaningless...

I was considering the twin city bones that Radial makes, its about $100 cheaper than the JX-2.
It also has a ground lift.

It is a good switch. It also has the polariy switch just not the boost the JX-2 has. I run it with the JX-2 and have 3 heads at the same time.

I like it loud!

Does it switch the polarity when you change channels so you keep it correct thru the night?

Uncle Mo, FANBOI of Diezels....

Herbert may have a pair of extra tubes which definitely makes it bigger and more powerful, but...
