Sizzler cooks steaks. So does Smith & Wollensky. If you can't tell the difference, you shouldn't be eating at the latter.

For that type of guitar and going used, I think you will get a little more for your money going with a Tom Anderson with similar specs.

It's over by the In 'N Out burger -- they have some good burgers dude...

I had the opposite - felt the resonance of the TA unplugged. Hell there was even a thread created about a particular TA that i played in NC. Suhr's just have not had that same quality unplugged in my experience.

I also prefer TA neck profiles - they have character and feel more comfortable whereas Suhr neck profiles have always felt like high quality fender or warmoth standard shapes.

Of course these guitars are highly customizable so all of this is said in light of personal experience. If i had to choose my choice would be easy.

That's wild! I'd love to jam some time and see what the what is. I agree with your statement about Suhr and Fender. Suhr is everything Fender SHOULD be but isn't. That said, I love my American Special, but to your point I've also had MIM strats that with a little love and setup would rival an American Standard at twice the price... And that's WITH an electronics package swap on the MIM. Only gripe I ever had with the MIM is that I feel they should put a string tree on the D/G strings to kill the mute microphonics of the muted G string. Easy enough fix, but they should know better...
