It's really compact, and just two inputs can be recorded at the same time, but the preamps really sound good, and it's also USB bus-powered, so you can record pretty much anywhere with a mic.
The mixer it comes with allows you to have a software preamp cooked into your recording signal. It's dead easy to use, I didn't even read the manual.

Really nice sounding. I prefer it to the Apollo 8p that I normally use, but that could be wishful thinking. A better way to look at it is that my recording techniques have improved, but saying that isn't as sexy as new gear.
