Lots of Friedman cabs on stage. Great tone as expected.

Yeah, they sound great! William is really a great singer. If they do another album, Jerry really needs to step back and let him be the lead singer. Jerry can sing but where he shines is laying down harmonies behind a stronger voice IMO.

The band sounded great. I thought it was interesting that Cantrell didn't do the interview.

I was sort of disappointed myself that JC wasn't in the interview.

Exactly. Take some of the weight off and let William take the reigns. Fuck the haters if they don't like him, plenty of us love what he adds in the front man role. I thought Acid Bubble was a standout for William off their first album together.

I saw an interview with him where he talks about how they are just touching upon what they can do together as a band: @2:34

I agree, they sound fantastic and William can really hold his own. Can't wait to go see them if they ever come to my neck of the woods.

I think most of the hate for WD comes into play because he doesnt sound like Layne, which is just fine. It may make the older songs sound a little different, but still sound great. Not to mention, what he does on the new stuff is great. I got to see them live about a year ago, and he a ridiculous how great he sounds live.

biggest mistake in the world letting Sean (drummer) do the interview. I felt sorry for the interviewer. Good otherwise.

Jerry was at Tone Merchants the day before the GC gig. He was really sick

Great tones!

Agreed with everything being said about William. He's is rocking it with his own style. Still digging AIC in 2014!

Is William using Friedman amps as well?

Yeah I must say Jerry's tone is Super Sick. I had the chance to meet him at Soundcheck last year when they played at the Norva. Great Guy like a super class act!!!!!

I bought tickets to see them about 2 months ago and wound up getting screwed into going to work instead....

But on a positive note, I saw them live a couple years ago and he had God tone   I was floored, best live tone I've heard to date. William sounded good too.
