I am a relatively new forumite here, and I believe I have a great grasp on recording guitar amplifiers. I have spent the past two years of my life painstakingly tweaking knobs, moving microphones, using different boosts, changing cabinet positioning and choosing different micropones to ACCURATELY and properly capture the sound produced by a guitar amplifier.
I have high-definition gear including an RME Fireface 800, several appropriate microphones for recording guitar cabinets, and three high-quality guitar cabinets that put out some serious tone. I am obsessive over tone, and I want to be able to express that in recordings for your product.
I am putting it out on the table, that I will record ANY MANUFACTURER'S guitar, amplifier, guitar cabinet, pickup, or stopbox, FREE OF CHARGE, if shipping and return shipping is provided for the product in question. I assure you that your product will be packed and returned to you in the exact same condition it is shipped to me. I guarantee 100% satisfaction that YOU will be happy with the recording of your product, or I will continue to record it until you are.
I am a proficient guitarist/bassist and am capable of programming drum tracks to the point where only other experienced engineers (and maybe not even some of them) would be able to tell whether a real drummer was playing on the tracks.
This offer extends to anyone who will post here. Please contact me for details. Baron55 (Baron Custom Amplification's David Woodhouse), FortinAmps (Mike Fortin) and MILLS Acoustics (Dave Mills) will all be able to vouch that I am a stand-up fellow with a wealth of knowledge that will provide you with something you will be proud of.
Clips here of Mike Fortin's Meathead on Channel 6 through a Mills Acoustics Afterburner 412B. These clips were reamped in a time of less than 10 minutes in DARE STUDIOS (a noisy, untreated rehearsal room, under mediocre conditions) through a $300 dollar recording interface and still sound awesome and representative of the amplifier:
