I didn't see that one. I never played Minecraft (or many video games really for that matter), so I wouldn't get the references.
People in the know loved it though, so it clearly did well with its target audience.

yeah - without the references and context I can see how this would not be a fun movie. it was only fun for me because my boys were huge minecraft players. they had all kinds of worlds built out. they invite their friends to come check out their new 'world'. when they first started, they would explain that they were serving the world to their friends by partitioning their hard drive to be a server strictly for that use. me being in IT was very concerned about that and warned them against doing that. little did i know

Yeah I had friends growing up who played it....
I never understood it because it was uncompetetive. I still don't get it or the game but yeah.... not watching for sure.
