wow tbat is an awsome set of axes!
Well... just to be clear, I owned them over time, never owning more that 12-14 guitars at one time. Mostly kept the best ones! There was also a really nice Gibson R8 Historic that I owned for awhile, but I never took any pics for some reason...

EDIT: found some pics the original owner took of the R8 Historic I owned. NEVER should have gotten rid of this! Duncan Antiquities - sounded great. Traded STRAIGHT UP for the red charvel pointy above when they were still expensive. DUMBEST deal I've ever done! :

Kind of like hot wheels when I was a kid, just a lot more expensive
And a slight possibility to get laid.
When you are married and buying/selling guitars like this, there is no possibility of getting laid that is being positively effected by the guitars...

I like the blue suhr without fret markers. Killer guitar.
It was a good guitar. I just seem to prefer the Charvel Custom Shop stuff for super strats...

I think it is great that you documented all of this! I wish I did as well......problem is it would take a day just to go through all of the pictures!!!!
Yeah, it did take awhile. As I said, I find it pretty ridiculous to see what I've done laid out this way...

Great thread!!
I think my fav is the single pickup black jackson soloist.. Do you still have it??
I don't think I've ever seen one before.
That black soloist is LONG gone. I only kept it for a couple months. Wasn't my thing - just dug how it looked...

All sellers please take note: it is obviously possible to take pics of your guitar on the rug without your toes in the pic! Your compliance is appreciated!
HA! You don't know how many of these I had to crop to get my toes out of the pictures!

Trust me bro, I completely understand and can relate! If I was to go back into my 20 yr. history of buying guitars and gear at Long-McQuade up here in Can......I would probably pass out from the GAS.

Its that bad!

But alas....I have come to a point where I am actually quite happy now and thank goodness for that. I've started to settle down as I'm getting older, thankfully.

Good for you - I've pretty much kept the "cream of the crop" of the guitars I've owned. Now the only thing I want is a killer '59 Les Paul replica...

Still have this one?

I don't. This is actually one of the saddest stories in the whole pile. The neck was a beautiful birdseye that you can't really see well in the picture, but it was spectacular. Unfortunately, the neck arrived visibly warped beyond belief. It was so bad that there was no possible way to fix it. I think the builder gave me the run around for awhile, but I persisted, so he did give me some of my money back for the neck. The body was also supposed to be cut for EMG 7 string pickups, but the routes are wrong (too wide) - the guy who built it said he knew how to cut those pickup routes, but had no idea. The only way to mount those pickups (or any pickups actually) would have been with pickup rings and I'm not even sure that would have worked. I think pickup rings look bad on 7 string EMGs anyway, but regardless - it was screwed up badly by the builder. I tried to get another guy to build me a neck, but he took my money for a year and a half and did nothing. I actually had to drive to his house and confront him to get my cash back. I ended up throwing out the neck, of course, and someone on one of the forums bought the body as is knowing it was fucked up (for next to nothing). Really bad experience...

Myself I have far more gas troubles with amps and pedals than I do with guitars.
