What are you using for a neck pickup? I currently have a BBQ in the bridge (love it) and a SD 59 in the neck. I do like the 59, however, I want something with more punch and less clang that would match up better to the BBQ. Any suggestions?

I have the BBQ in a couple of guitars. I just have the Stock humbucker in the neck of one of my Fender Toronados, I have a Texas in another and a GFS Mean 90 in another. I think that the BBQ goes very well with the Texas and the Mean 90 (humbucker sized P-90.)

In my '73 LP custom I have a BBQ in the bridge and the stock humbucker in the neck. The combination makes for a very versatile guitar.

I have a BBQ and Texas on order for my mid 90's LP studio, but I still haven't gotten them in. Hopefully musictoyz finally gets them shipped out.

Have you considered the Texas from Rio Grande?

The texas is the mate for the BBQ for sure...Jason...need to have a get togther with JB so you guys can play the Egnater stuff and I can play a fricken Cameron! Call me sometime to figure out a weekend that we can come to your place! I will pm my number.
