Ive been thinking about a simple pedal board not sure how to accomplish this.I always run into cable problems..,I hate cables!

I like wireless, wah, phaser, chorus, filter and a delay and harmonist in loop into mesa royal atlantic

if i have a board out front now i have a ton of cables going to n fro the amp...how do i switch amp channels then?

anyone help or a solution?

and then will i have noise issues and tone loss?

oh yea, and im an asshole, instead of coming home on valentines day and giving my wife a gift, i came home and bitched at her about my ex wife!!!
i never should have remairried

You could rig up an elaborate wireless setup, but you'd have a pretty high risk of signal loss and interference problems. When I run my pedalboard, I just run the cables out of the way and they are rarely a problem. As for signal loss from cable runs, the solution is a dedicated buffer. Make sure all of your pedals are true bypass and run a single buffer in your chain. With my board, I run almost a dozen pedals and I do not get any tone loss.

What's a good buffer ? I usually use gsp1101 in one rig n Rjm switcher in another. Just trying to setup a simple one.

I'm using a Wrampler Clean Buffer, and it works great. It makes having 10 pedals and well over 60 ft of cable sound like my guitar is running through a 10 ft cable.

I've also heard good things about T1M. His buffer is small and relatively cheap. I was looking at getting one og those when I found the one I got on CL.

buffer smuffer!

I run 4 cable with four 21 footers.

Put an X2 on your board and you're down to 3 cables.

Suppose i have some buffered pedals in the mix, but really no worries.

Imagine you'd want your amp footswitch on your board, especially if the loop is switchible.

Yeah, see. A little buffer goes a long way. (Literally)

A buffer is a must with over 60 feet of cable runs. The audible difference with/without the buffer in the signal path is significant.

I highly recommend the Fallout-Labs Stevia buffer. He (Casey) can build it into just about any sized box you want, including custom interface boxes, true bypass looper strips, etc.
