All I can say is WOW, what an awesome guitar! Came with .009's, so I put .010's on it, and new set of HD noiseless springs I bought and never used for the Jackson I returned.
So easy to set up, no flaws, no Floyd issues, simply top-notch, all around. The '59 in the neck is heavenly for blues, and splittable, and the JB does very well in this guitar. It's over 9lbs., very beefy tone. The last 2 non-trem Skolnicks I had had huge necks, I expected the same, but pleasantly surprised. It's a rounded profile, I'd equate to a hybrid, similar to an older explorer, or V, maybe a tad thicker.
If you're looking to scratch that LP itch, and want a Floyd, I'd HIGHLY recommend it. It's badass, and as nice as any Gibson I've ever owned!
