I never understood why some builders/techs take so long to mod an amp. I can literally take a stock Marshall and completely rebuild it or mod it with additional tube stages and make it look factory in about 7 days and have it shipped out the following Monday. Yet some of these infamous modders can't seem to add a pot and some diodes in less than 6 months or longer. I would need to have a backlog of 25-30 amps in order to have a 6-month turnaround. But I guess these guys are doing that much business?
