I combined a couple of my amps jut now via a delay. Sounded decent but there was some noise and volume issues with it. So i figured and ABY was in order. Is the radial the end all be all?? FWIW, i am combining a ss w a tube amp

Thanks

Yes. Either the Switchbone or the Twin City.

Unles you want to spend more money with those ^, I'd recommend the Radial BigShot ABY. Isolated ABY with phase, ground and isolation switches. Best passive ABY on the market, IMO and only 75 bucks or so.

Yup, he speaks the truth I own one as well and it is perfect. I got mine used for around fifty though

+1 on the radial big shot. when you run two different amps the transformers don't like each other and you usually wind up with hum. the radial fixes that with the iso and allows you to flip the phasing of the second amp if it isn't right. there's a slight drop in treble with the radial because it's passive.. but you can adjust that via the amp controls.
