A guy came into my local music shop trying to sell a Mesa Boogie Mark V head in a hurry. He is a regular there, and not a crack head, so it's legit. My friend at the store sought fit to call me. So, I ran to the bank and took out as mush cash as I could and bought a Mesa Boogie Mark V head. I even talked him into selling me the flight case for it too. He had the hang tags, original receipt, and the owner's manual too. Score!

The only thing that's missing is the footswitch. How neutered is this amp without the footswitch? Anyone got a spare footswitch?

you can order one from boogie. you're probably going to want to get that.
you could probably flip the road case and have about enough for a footswitch if its a nice road case.

Everything you can do with the footswitch you can do on the back of the amp. So, if you don't mind going to the back of the amp every time you want to change channels, then you're good.

The roadcase is beat up and dirty, but it's a roadcase. I won't be able to play it for a while. If I can't find a footswitch in the next few days, I'll order one from Mesa.

I actually had an accidental Mesa amp day too a few month ago . My friend was selling a 2000 Dual Rectifier for $900 . So I was like I’ll take it lol

That's what I really want. I need another Rev G Rectifier.

You may already be aware, but the Mark V 90's 8 button footswitch is enormous, almost 14" x 6" - suggest some planning about pedalboard before you drop nearly 200 bucks on it. My TC-50's Mesa footswitch is similarly huge, I went to a Disaster Arena Designs MIDI Baby 3 with external 2 button switches, lot easier to fit onto a pedal board. Would need a MIDI Matrix or similar 3rd party converter to get that to work on a Mark V, but you can use individual latching switches instead of the 8 button monster, no LEDs though.

I finally got to rip through this thing at practice tonight. The Mark V is so much easier to dial in than my Mark IV was. I really dig it.

I set it up with my snake I usually use with the Verellen Skyhammer. Once I got it configured, I got the single button Verellen footswitch to go between 1 and 3 with the external switching jack. I have an OCD set up for crunch if I need more. It actually worked out perfectly. It was more of a bitch to configure the loop and eq to work than it was to dial in tones. It really sounded great.

You are a pure asshole :p. Just kidding. But send some of that luck my way.

I was looking for one of these to upgrade from my 25 Watter to run stereo with my new VH2, but don't want to spend too much since...well I just bought the VH2.

Someone just had one for sale on here from Ohio (But not Cleveland), but he didn't want to ship. Then I saw one on GC for even cheaper. I tried to buy it but it was already sold (just not taken off the website yet).

Can I ask how good a deal you got? You tell me $900 like Techdeth's Recto and I'll cry.
