I've got a few guitars with active pickups and one thing I forget to do more times than not is unplugging the guitar after i'm done which drains the 9v battery. Was wondering if anyone has attempted to install an on/off switch to kill the connection from the output jack to the 9v so it doesn't drain the battery. I feel like this would work and is something I may try to do on my own.

Maybe installing some sort of a 2 way toggle switch that you can wire the battery harness into. That way when the switch is set one way, it completes the circuit and turns ON the pickups, switch it other way and cuts the circuit to the battery.

Good luck.
