Looking for input on good multi effects unit rack mount for a stereo rig I'm putting together. Nit looking to necessary break the bank. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Rocktron Intellifex is universally liked and inexpensive. Some people don’t like the Rocktron Xpression but, I do. TC Electronic G-Major and G-Force. Lexicon MPX-1 and G2.

The G major two has intreagued me in the past. Never tried it though tbh.

The G-Major/G-Major 2 sound fine and are relatively inexpensive. They’ve also held up in world tours with bands like Metallica.

There was a Quadraverb on sale in the classifieds here the other day. Don't know if it's sold yet, but that could be a cheap option.

Old unit, but when I owned one I found that the more effort I put into it, the more it kept surprising me. Got some brilliant clean and overdriven sounds out of it, although I know that's not necessarily what you're after here.

Delays, 'verbs and whatnot, just-fine.

EDIT:
Just found it. Roughly a hundred bucks:

I’d go with TC’s G Force because of its effect matrix (series and parallel), ease of use and sound quality.
It also doesn’t cost an arm and a leg used.

Thanks for all the input! In true form it seems I have a hard time settling for less! Lol. Eventide Eclipse anyone?! I currently have the G System. I really dig it. What I'm trying to accomplish is a mobile rack with a triaxis and 290. I was going use the Gsystem with this rig. My home stereo rig is the Triaxis with a Coliseum Three Hundred with room for expansion another preamp etc. I was considering another G System just because of the versitility as a switcher etc. But, was thinking a rack effects unit and getting the voodoo labs GCX and Ground control to have the capability of intergrading other components. I don't really need a plethora of effects with this rig. Good delays, reverbs and modulation. I looked into the Korg recommended above, few and far between. Will the G major II cover my needs? Thanks!

Yes it will. It’s a great unit with everything. Tons of users out there.

Not trying to be an asshat but I have all 3, GMaj, GCX and GC Pro. PM me if u want to work something out.

Yeah, the TC will do fine. I’ve had a G-Major, MPX-1 & an Xpression between my TriAxis/2:90 at varying times. Still have them all. I would say MPX-1 sounds the best but is the least user friendly then the G-Major. The Xpression is SO easy to use that it’s the one still in that rack though.

Vintage rack gear costs less than pedals these days. I recently grabbed a Lexicon MPX-1 for $185. I'm still blown away with the quality of the effects in that box. The reverbs are insane and it's packed with everything else I could ever ask for in a multi effects unit. I'm running everything in my rack into a Sampson SM-10 rack mixer. That's the heart of my rig. It ties everything together and let's me get the most from my stereo effects. I run the preamps dry into that then feed the signal from the mixer's sends into a 2120 & MPX-1 which return to separate channels in the SM-10 so they can be mixed parallel with the dry preamp signal and each other which sounds incredible. At $200 new the SM-10 is a no brainer purchase if you are building a rack.
