I've just bought 2 NOS AEG ECC83 tubes for my ADA MP-1. For me they sound very nice. Any other opinions about these tubes? I can't find relevant information about these tubes on web.

If you have a pic, I can tell you (probably) who manufactured them (AEG didn't make any tubes themselves). Probably either a Valvo or a RFT.

You might also be able to get more info at KCANOSTubes.com. Those guys deal with a lot of neat old tubes.

You know, it's funny you say that. I emailed kca asking about nos 12bh7 tubes, they have two and I asked the difference. The response was "they're both good, I'm not sure the difference because I don't have any amps that use them". That's understandable, but really...there;s been no feedback from anyone who has bought them?
