After a year wait my custom pointy is on its way…

All hand built by Marc Chicoine, known for building Luc Lemays guitars from Gorguts.

Mahogany body, neck thru, maple neck, stainless steel frets, 81x in the bridge, Floyd bridge, scalloped frets 17 up on the high strings.

Cannot wait to play this thing.

Body may look familiar, Jackson built this shape a few times from their custom shop, but wouldn’t build anything out of their spec sheet.

Man, I really hope it does. If so he’s going to get my business from now on over these other companies. Easy to work with, and great customer service.

It will be here Thursday. I’ll do a write up and video probably, as there’s not a ton out there on Marc’s builds. Everyone I’ve dmd about his guitars has said the build quality is up there with Jackson custom shop, esp custom shop, daemoness etc. high hopes.
