It’s not really an OD pedal even though it’s called one in the name. Really more of a amp-in-a-box/distortion pedal. Has that harder/more square wave clipping that imo doesn’t work well on already overdriven amps

trimmer in back is at 9-oclock & gain on front is also at 9-oclock i just use it as a regular overdrive w/a JMP 2203.
Sounds monstrous.

modified TS-9 to 808 spec's w/a 1978 TI Malaysian chip, a modified Pro Co RAT w/ NOS Motorola LM 308 & a On Floor Audio Tube Boost Overdrive with some custom Op amps i put in there.
All each their own flavors, all tools in the toolbox but the BE OD gain is addictive. Maybe i'll get tired of it IDK ?

12 noon. Gig level is always Master & Preamp @ noon & slam the input KERRANG.
Gotta be real cool with the BE OD cuz things can get outta hand gain wise real quick.
And the upper register detail is unreal my ears were hurting the other day.
Something really cool with this pedal.
Marshall settings were Bass : 3-4 [actual number], Treble/Mids/Presence all about 6 [actual number]



This is where i left off Sunday, im sure there will be more fine tuning.

BE-OD sounds more like a distortion to me than a boost of any type. I can't see how it beat out some of the others on your list but hey, we all hear things differently. Some of us have really good ears, others have terrible ears
