Haha... no clutch. It will automatically shift when you hit the paddle. Basically hit the paddle to first gear and mash the accelerator. My buddys Porsche was like that. I was surprised cause I was looking for a clutch. My Palisade has paddles too. Funny enough, my Viper doesnt, although it is a 96 but still. LOLso how do you launch?? push in the clutch, rev it up and hit a button??
I can tell you the Ferrari winds up so fast from 1100 to 9000 RPM you could never even come close to shifting it with a shifter and a clutch . I don't care how fast you are . Half the time I'm on the rev limiter with paddle shifters but I admit I'm not very good.This.
My SS is a 6sp Manual.
The only way to go IMO.
Auto trans today are super impressive, no doubt. But for me it’s the interaction with a manual; no substitute for it.I can tell you the Ferrari winds up so fast from 1100 to 9000 RPM you could never even come close to shifting it with a shifter and a clutch . I also enjoy driving a slow car fast. That’s why I drive old manual BMWs.Auto trans today are super impressive, no doubt. But for me it’s the interaction with a manual; no substitute for it.
I get you're driving the car but I'm afraid to take both hands off of the steering wheel !!!!LOL!!Auto trans today are super impressive, no doubt. But for me it’s the interaction with a manual; no substitute for it.

My SS Camaro is pretty fast; it has a timer…I did 0-60 in 4.3 a month ago. Pretty good for a 30k muscle car. It’s also 6 yrs old. The track package 1LE SS laps better than an M series BMW.I also enjoy driving a slow car fast. That’s why I drive old manual BMWs.
Yep.. I remember those days. Whats even more bizarre is that in time you'll have to keep up a monthly subscription if you want to autostart your car, locate it..etc. It used to be free when you bought the vehicle. I dont like the fact that they can remotely shut things down without my consent if I dont agree to pay. Very weird ....New technology is crazy. None of my cars even have power windows lol
Sorry, I wasn’t saying your car was slow lol. Just that, yes modern autos may be faster than manuals, but it’s not just all about the split seconds. There is driver engagement. Manuals, slower old cars that have direct connections and no computers, etc.My SS Camaro is pretty fast; it has a timer…I did 0-60 in 4.3 a month ago. Pretty good for a 30k muscle car.
