God do I miss these 'days'... the rawness, the energy, the dirtyness.. Like watching Metallica in 88-89. Pure passion.

Thanks for sharing Paige! Sounds awesome! Love AiC.

I need to do that. I love that VHS tape!

They were such a huge influence on my playing. Facelift changed the way I played guitar. Still listen to the album all the time.

Great live tone, Staley sounded great here too.

I notice Jerry is rockin a Randall RG80ES head and it sounds pretty good.

Ya, or there has to be a marshall plugged in hidden behind his stack, lol.  Whatever, those old solid state Randall's are great amplifiers.

I'd DEFINITELY agree with this. Jerry is the KING of the "less is more" approach to playing. Monster riffs, soulful, singing/wailing solos, and haunting tones.

I thought it looked like a Marshall sitting on the cab behind him? Maybe i wasn't looking clear enough... but Lynch dug some of those solid state Randalls so can't see why they wouldn't deliver the goods in the right hands.

Really cool to see this old footage! thanks for posting

Played some gigs back around then with them and yes the RG 80 was all he had.
Those amps actually sounded pretty good SS and all
