Dave Friedman has praised Randall several times on Tone Talk. From what I’ve heard, it was more of a passion project than a desire to compete with other brands, which resulted in Randall going massively overboard on components quality.
There was a head and cabinet sold recently on Reverb. I believe Randall is a rocket scientist type engineer. I might be wrong but if true, here is your rocket in a box.
