Alec Baldwin To Be Charged

I'm not necessarily an Alec Baldwin fan and I don't know the facts but what I thought I had heard that:

1. At least 2 people quit/walked off the set due to gun safety concerns (or general safety).

2. Supposedly in the night(s) leading up to this some people were on the set randomly firing guns.

3. This set had a history of gun safety issues.

4. There is a person on this set who has one responsibility and that was gun safety.

5. The handler who handed Alec the gun should have checked it.

6. Alec should have checked it. Period.

7. Alec said in that interview that he did not pull the trigger. LOL. BS.

As a carrying citizen with a CC there is just no excuse.
 
Alec did himself no favors by not listening to his lawyers (I assume he has hired at least minimally competent attorneys who told him to keep his fucking mouth shut) and talking about this event. In the age of CGI, there should dummy guns with non-working triggers or at the very least, any actor in such a role should be required to take a rigorous gun safety course.

Fortunately for Baldwin, he wasn't responsible. Like money that is charged in a civil asset forfeiture, the gun itself is responsible. There is legal precedent for this.
