Alex's playing is effortless, that's what makes it so awesome. Doesn't even look like he's trying. Kinda pisses me off....

I remember a few years back watching him play "Get the Funk Out" and felt the same way! hahaha

Only a true Shredi master of the electric guitar can engage in what is loosely known as "Sleeprock". Kinda like sleepwalking, except you tend to wake up surrounded by naked groupies instead of in the ice-cream section of the local supermarket

@joeytpg..yes..The DK was used along with the Herbert for all the rhythm track..Actually there is also a Boogie road king in there..
to be exact i recorded 6 rhythm tracks total with 3 mics each..2 with the DK hard panned,2 with the Herbert and 2 with the Boogie doing the same..
But i guess you can only hear all that on the cd track when its finished..On this track i had to play a mixed rhythm track as well with the lead tones so i lowered some original rtm tracks a lot..Otherwise it would be a mess..
The lead channel is only one sound and it is the Herbert..

I loved it, especially the ever present " Im bored, someone wake me when its over" look that you always have when youre shredding your face off. I think the tune shows how well rounded you are but Im not into this stuff all that much. The thing I love about your playing that separates you from so many other shredders out there is that not only do you have spectacular chops and technique but you also have tons of feel and soul as well as a great sense of melody, something that I dont see alot of in a sea of shredders today... THATS what I want to see more of!!!

Id love to see you win Bro, theres a bunch of great players in there as well.
