Bottom line: some would rather see Iran develope a nuke and a long range missile to deliver it, rather than pay .25 more a gallon.

True. Except for this time, US production is around 14 million barrels a day. And Saudi Arabia and some other neighboring countries just pitched in 250,000 barrels to help offset this little blip we are going to have :dunno:

How are they going to get that supply to market?

The strait is only 1 link in the supply chain. If Iran sends a bunch of drones, each costing no more than a Custom Shop Strat, they can cripple ports, blow up pipelines, blow up refineries, etc. etc. A wrecked port takes weeks or months to fix. Iran will simply blow it up again. Ditto pipelines and refineries.

Iran doesn't NEED to close the strait to cripple the supply of oil out of the middle east.

Trump got strong armed/duped into this war by Netanyahu. Completely hoodwinked. This will be the nail in Trump's coffin. When boots hit the ground, and they will have to sooner or later, body bags will come home. Who wants to sacrifice their son or daughter or husband or father for Israel's bid for middle east domination?
