I assume Dan is being hyperbolic there. However no one can deny that oil prices have spiked faster than any time since the 1980s. And gasoline is going to follow in lockstep. Let's see how this week goes.
My bet is that Trump's promise about the Navy escorting ships is pure lies, and no ships will be goong through the Strait of Hormuz this week. Which means that oil will continue to rise (already at $118).
