I enjoy ‘the why’ the music works more than ‘the how’. “Why does this note sound right Darth Tech”? Because ….x.y.z. huh….. then once you know the note and where it lives and sounds… you use it and voila, it’s a new lick that sounds and feels fresh. Over time it’s natural…. I don’t need 10000 notes per minute. The tension and resolution for me is key. Thanks tech. Keep doing what you do.
