I played one locally...the headstock looks worse in person :(

Did you mount a motorcycle mirror on the neck while you were playing cause I cant see my headstock while playing  :D

:)

it's ok...I'm a fan of the Caparison headstock (I owned a Horus)....so take what I say lightly :D

I played a friend's tyler and thought it was cool, sounded much better than the parker he had before it, (not a fan). The headstock is an acquired taste though for sure.

One of the worst headstocks ever. They're so horrendous it just kills the rest of the guitar. I'm sure they play and sound awesome though, but I couldn't deal with that headstock. I'd rather have an Anderson or a Suhr.

Had 6 or 7 Suhrs, 4 Tylers...still have 3 Suhrs and 2 Tylers.
IMO the headstock is the reason that they sound bigger than any other Strat style iut there. Take a look at Landay having Suhr change the headstock to more mass...
Suhr's certainly are te easier ride, think race bike, Tylers...have the vibe and balls...think big ass Harley.

I think G&L makes the best traditional strat I've played ie. The legacy, where I wouldn't change a thing on it...but....that headstock...........

I was going to point that out about Suhr's new (said with love and admiration) "swollen penis" headstock too. Wasn't it Billy Sheehan that used to hang a set of vice grips off of the headstock of his basses?

And sometimes I hate you Ed. For having all those kickass guitars... :( ;) :D Still watch the vids of the Rahbek a lot and it just has this great tone to it. Oh well. Inspires me to have at least one Suhr, Tyler, Anderson, Rahbek, and any other great maker out there.

That Baker (right?) is sick, I especially dig the reversed bridge pickup (makes perfect sense to me). Tell us what you think of the Tele-trem thing when you get it, sounds pretty different I bet.

(barf!!!!)

looks like a botched RG550 project with an RX20 tremolo.

Is that seriously the stock pickguard?

Everything about that guitar kicks major ass... except for that pickguard. Personally, I'm just not a fan of "subtracting" portions of a traditonal pickguard just to reveal wood/finish...
