I disagree because then a bunch of sick old men get to hang out together without enough oversight. Our jails should be full of pedos, rapists, violent felons, and murderers. Most repeat pedos and rapists should face the death penalty because it's obvious they are beyond reform and allowing them to live at all puts others at risk. Instead those people get early release and petty drug offenders and addicts fill the jails. It would be cheaper, and the right thing, to provide rehab for those individuals.

I camped out there for the Phish millennial concert. Maybe this isn't the exact area?
Side road parked waiting for gates to open, ditches were full of alligators.
Wild horses out there too that was cool to see.

I've got film pics of the ditches we were waiting next to.

The alligators didn't bother anyone, but I'm sure people bothered them. They were small.

I imagine the large ones were in the ponds?

At night, all kinds of fucked up (we had some great powder form mescaline) walking around you didn't know what you'd come across...

I swear I thought Trump said he was going to reopen Alcatraz?

The original Alcatraz cannot be re-opened due to the lib uproar that it's "inhumane", this is a great 2nd choice. Leave those gates open and let the gators give them a life sentence.
