MURDERATOR
My attempt at a panaromic picture…Powell’s mountain scenic overlook off U.S. Route 19 between Sutton and Summersville. Leaves are changing but the picture doesn’t really show it…. I was hoping to see Bigfoot or the mothman but no such luck.

Well the panoramic view wouldn’t load so here’s a few others. Doesn’t show the scale at all. Nice view though….

yo why is water so insanely expensive in WV?
that seems to be one of the biggest things that prevents it from any sort of economic progress.

Water is not an issue that I’m aware of. My bill runs about 70-100 month but I have a constant houseful. Me and the wife, my boys…both seniors… my daughter… grandson 24/7 and granddaughter half the time. And the constant stream of ho’s running in and out. My boys are following ole dad’s advice… fuck em all but six and save them for pall bearers…Now certain counties have issues because of mining. Wayne county is having a helluva time right now.

There’s never going to be progress here unless it’s coal, natural gas or oil. The country here is too harsh. The mountains are not really high compared to the Rockies but it’s different. It’s rugged hills and river cut valleys. Harsh conditions for travel much less roads and rail construction. Place I visit occasionally is 90 miles away and it takes two and a half hours to get there. Lots of time you almost have to go in a different direction for half the trip to get there. Just hard to explain. That’s why the population has not grown since the 50’s. Just tough living here.

Jack how far are you from Richwood?

When my grandfather came here from italy 115 yrs ago he landed there in the coal mines.

Eventually ended up in Brooklyn in the late 20s but he always said WV was his real home

Who knows i may have aunt's Uncles and cousins there
