I have just started listening to Fear no Evil and wow!! I am so impressed with their songwriting. I wrote them off after The Wild Life which ranks up i my all time favs. I just do not hear alot of love for them?? The next albums are obviously worse in production but they still are good writers.

Stick it to 'ya album had good guitar tone and catchy songs. I remember that. Was it Mark Slaughter who also co-wrote tons of songs for other bands/singers or am I thinking of someone else? I know he and Dana Strum were in the Vinnie Vincent band and that first album was damn good too. Stick it to 'ya came out in 1990, now that I look, so it was at the end of that era.

They had some memorable songs from back in the day.

I search them out on YouTube every now & then and jam out listening to them !

IKR everything got weird in 94-95. He was good with VVI as well.

I'm only familiar with Up All Night and Fly To The Angels but both of those fuck in my book

Oh and the one from Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey - Shout it Out i think?

Those aren't the best. The Wild life had really good song writing and production as Fear no Evil.

My favorite Slaughter song FYI ....(but yeah I can only take his voice in doses - somewhat like Vince Neil)

Not a huge fan, but my current band is playing “Burning Bridges”. Had never heard it before, but it’s a fun, snappy little tune…

I still listen to the VV album from time to time....talk about nonsensical shred at times but there's some good songs on that album. Good stuff on Slaughter's first album too. I'll take a listen to the others you mention....

Marks voice sucks. I dont understand how people like this band. I heard the first two albums when they came out and also the EP. I havent tortured my ears with anything beyond that.

Loved the first one, and its on constant rotation...

I think I will have to revisit the next two, thanks.

They were bad as VVI.
Not sure how changing to Slaughter could help that?
