Am I the only one that loves Slaughter's first 3 albums?

I still listen to the VV album from time to time....talk about nonsensical shred at times but there's some good songs on that album. Good stuff on Slaughter's first album too. I'll take a listen to the others you mention....
First VVI album was Robert Fleischman on vocals. His most notable accomplishment besides getting booted from VVI was getting booted from Journey for Steve Perry and he does have some co-writes on the Journey Infinity album. And interestingly enough there are some Journey vids on youtube with him on vocals live. On another note, several of the songs on VVI's first album were intended to be Kiss songs for the follow up to the Lick it Up album. To bad Vinnie couldn't keep his shit together with Kiss because his playing needed to be reigned in. You can hear he has the ability to have alot of melody in his playing but instead he just pukes notes out.

Second VVI album is all Mark Slaughter.

Both are an acquired tasted IMO.

I'm only familiar with Up All Night and Fly To The Angels but both of those fuck in my book

Oh and the one from Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey - Shout it Out i think?
That was a great disc! Lots of great tunes on it. Winger had one called Battle Stations that was great too. Go to Hell from Megadeth, Primus - Tommy the Cat, King's X - Junior's Gone Wild and Faith No More - The Perfect Crime were great too.

Good stuff....wasn't Fleischman also on The Storm album with Gregg Rolie? That has some good pop hard rock stuff also...VV Invasion is the album I have. Not heard the first VV one...might have to look it up.

That was Kevin Chalfant...another Perry type singer. I believe that is who Herbie Herbert, Journeys manager that made them who they are recommended they get after Perry left.

Vinnie Vincent Invasion is the first Vincent album, that's the one with Fleischman. The follow up All Systems Go is the one with Slaughter on vocals. Depending on the story Fleischman couldn't get along with VV and left right after the recording and why Slaughter is in the video, VV hated Slaughter, loved Slaughter, loved Fleischman and never wanted him to leave etc... who knows, dude is nut. I like the first Invasion album as several of those songs were earmarked for Kiss. In fact supposedly there is a not released boot of Stanley singing Back on the Streets again.

Yup i still have mine :D

Richie Kotzen's "Dream of a New Day" and Neverland's "Drinking Again" are a couple other bangers on it
