I have a pile of amps and a Kemper , but every time I plug into my JVM , I think to myself “ Why don’t I play this amp more!?”. I absolutely love the emulated balanced out on it as well. Am I alone here !?
Love mine. Totally stock. Had 77's in it for along time but switched back years go to 34's.Norton666":14qct1ko said:I have a pile of amps and a Kemper , but every time I plug into my JVM , I think to myself “ Why don’t I play this amp more!?”. That’s pretty much how I ran my 205H when I had it and agree, it’s really good. I’m starting to miss that amp but I just wouldn’t use it. If the 205 combo was a 1X12 I’d consider getting one but I am not dealing with a 2X12 combo. The orange channel with gain around 11 o’clock and pushed with EQ and OD pedals sounds majestic, 3D sounding. It just has a depth to it. It’s hard to explain but none of my other amps do that. It sounds dynamic if that makes sense.
I need to posted a recording or something. I will say I think it sounds very bland without being pushed and EQ’d though, but I think most amps do.
