Is this a way to end theft and maybe control EBT?

Drone based, lol What drone is gonna carry 50-100lbs of groceries? Get real.

Why not? It seems more streamlined than everyone driving to the grocery store.
The folly of mankind is always the unintended consequences. That's the short version.

I am kind of torn, in a way it seems like modern advances moving society forward and maybe missing the experience of grocery shopping.

That being said, I do buy most of my food directly from local farms.

Most major grocery chains offer home delivery already, how will Amazon squeeze them out?
The whole drone thing seems completely far fetched. So you live in an apartment, are they going to drop your groceries off on the roof? What drone that can carry 50lbs of groceries is gonna pass FAA muster to be flying low, landing in yards and on rooftops? Way too much liability there.

No thanks. I'll go to the store and help people keep jobs. Would you really want some twat-muffin like shitville-Danielle or Dan NoSack picking your produce anyway?

Price and ease of use?

They have successfully put shopping malls out of business.
SOME shopping malls. Some businesses have adapted to Amazon and still making money and the comparison of grocery stores to shopping malls is a stretch.
I'm trying to think of something, anything, other than prescriptions that would warrant expensive immediate service. For the ultra rich it’s no problem.
