I think that he sent it to HC guys since he has been on HC for quite a while, and knows the guys there. Also with the number of people at HC publicity there could translate into more sales.

Also the price is in Canadian dollars so that is basically 25% cheaper for the kit if you want to try one out. Also Kevin is a great guy to deal with. He has answered many questions that I have had. He also writes some of the best books on tube amp design. Also I think that he sells more kits, and books then amps. That is what his focus is.
Hey man - I don't think you owe anybody pictures of anything as far as close-ups of your work or anything like that. If he doesn't want to buy one, then don't buy one! I don't think you'll have any problem finding a market without having to post detailed gut shots. Look, even the closeups of my amp project I've posted don't tell you how well I can solder - it is ridiculous. Also, to me, soldering is a low-level skill. Anybody building an amp will be able to solder. The gut shots you've posted clearly show you know how to keep things neat and professional...titanamps":j2nu9mc4 said:so, my question to you guys here at rig talk is, WTF is this guy smoking? does anybody else have that idea? am i off base for being reluctant to give him what he wants, meaning close ups of my boards?
