Amp head storage question.

Question... for space reasons do you guys see any problem standing a head up vertically for long periods of time. Transformers and Tubes are really the only things gravity are pulling at when standing vertically and transformers are bolted down pretty damn tight. Just wanted to hear your opinions. Thanks.

I don’t store my stuff like this, but I don’t see an issue? Yes, the transformers are heavy and it may not be the “best” way for long term storage, I wouldn’t worry about it.

I wouldn't do this. The tabs on some transformers will bend. Maybe not so much with laydown transformers

I've played many a gig with heads on their side due to space constraints. No issues or worries

I lay my head down on its side on a pillow when I go to sleep.
Haven't had any issues yet.

Just wedge something between the top of the transformers and the headshell to take the stress off the tabs
