Thanks! Yeah, I think I'll have to. There are some clips of Dave's mods online but not alot. Would be good to have some extra clips in there.

My amp has been with dave for 2 weeks, hope the magic has been, or, is being worked! I plan on giving Dave a call either today or tomorrow, to make sure all is well.

Sweet!!! I'll be looking forward to clips and I'll try to make some as well. Since we both have Les Pauls and Charvels, should have a similar tone.
What did you get done? I'm having the Kitchen Sink mod done and also the Master Volume and Extra Gain added. We are probably looking at 4-6 weeks but I guess that depends on his schedule. When I sent him a message the other day, my tubes had arrived (sent power tubes separate) and he was going to check on my amp.
By the way, what type of amp you having modded? Mine is a Marshall 1959SLP Reissue that is currently a Splawn mod.

I sent Dave a JCM800 1987 (I didn't even know they made JCM800 plexi heads in '89), that I asked for a Brown Eye, and Saturation switch. That's it! I did sell my Splawn modded 1987 reissue before I bought the 800 to mod. I just felt the Splawn had no mojo, and didn't clean up well. Why didn't you like your Splawn? And, did Dave say he could un-mod it and then give you the kitchen sink? I figured sending Dave an unmodded head would take less time.
Did Dave tell you 4-6 weeks?

I sent a 1981/2 JCM 800. Getting Kitchen sink, saturation, modern, effects loop, simple clean.

I like my Splawn but want something with more saturation, etc. My Splawn is pretty simple and I'd like all the bells and whistles that come with Dave's mods. If I had another Marshall to mod, I would have sent that and kept the Splawn but it is my only Marshall. My other amp is a JSX and I would rather let Dave work on the Marshall.
