All I know is when you list this Marshall in the for sale section I wouldn't buy it. No offense but that doesn't seem like a solid amp if it just fixed itself. Probably break itself again just as quick. Something amiss with this story. Just saying. I would be in there with a chopstick tapping on shit and trying to find the initial problem. A loose something doesn't magically re-tighten itself. Good luck with it and keep us updated.

Now that would be an amp mod I would buy. Tube amps can be finicky. I love them dearly but it's the nature of the beast. When they work like they should (or in Neil Young's case shouldn't) it's tonal bliss, when they don't UGH! Good luck with it and I guess the million dollar question was what amp it was but one can only assume from your http://xrayprofiles.bigcartel.com/ its the F****N and not the F******N. I would have just assumed it was the F******N and leave it at that.

I've had the Fortin for years with no issues. I am split on this one, I half think there is reason to reveal, but then on the chance it was my fault (I don't think so) I would be wrecking on an otherwise talented an honest tech...the issue was resolved with great and friendly conversation and I would probably do business again with the guy. The tones are that impressive. Seriously. The the mods deliver above and beyond what the descriptions and feedback indicates. It won't take much detective work to figure it out once I start making new clips and profiles.
