How come VHT never gets modified?

I had modified VHT Deliverance with loop, more/less switch and simple clean channel. But these are pretty common mods and doesn't alternate tone of amp. VHT/Fryette stuff is very specific and it is more love/hate affair. When You like its voicing, there is nothing to change. When You don't like it (practice more

Jen Kruse has probably done one. He has done practically every manufacturer at one point.

I wouldn't mind getting a UL or CLX and doing a saturation/low end mod on it. I had a CL once, and got used to the dryness. But going back and forth between amps made me want a little more. I really like the lack of fizziness and the clarity/tightness.
