ampeg vh140c problems

I am having some volume/gain loss and the chorus outputs barely output. Thoughts?

Try cleaning the effect loop jacks with some deoxit.

Hate to tell you this, but it is most likely one of the power amps failing. I have owned numerous vh140c's and this happened with every one of them and is a commonly known problem.

The VH140c has 2 70 watt poweramps as it is a stereo amp. When one goes out, exactly what you describe happens. I hope this isn't the case with yours but...

Fixes? Jumping the efx loop works to solve the olume issues but the chorus outs are fucked.
