Hey, it was nice to meet all you cats yesterday, I had a good time. This is Chris, Im the dude who brought the Mills cab. Anyways I forgot to mention this yesterday but the bass player from my band and I have been talking about trying to put together a jam session type thing that could be maybe once or twice a month.

Basically we could have some set chord progressions , nothing to crazy but nice things to solo over. I figure we could have as many as 5 or so guitar players and just take turns soloing and playing the chords. My bass player is pretty nasty and would def keep a good groove goin. If anyone is interest let me know, no pressure at all.

Nice meeting you and thanks for bringing a Mills that was not loaded with those shitbag k100s!!!!

No problem man, it was a good time. So ya liked the Mills cab ? I've been kinda on the fence about it but I think the speakers might need to brake in a little more. I liked how that Engl cab sounded, it was pretty smooth for a v30 cab.

That ENGL cab surprised the crap out of me, very focused and it hit really hard. The Mills was cool and very full but not as focused BUT sounded way better than the last one I heard with k100s. It was good to hear one with different speakers, Mike's amps will really ring out any cab.

So the hype bubble has burst on the K100's?

They seemed be quite an internet fad for awhile.

Hell, Ive been out of the loop for so long, I didnt realize that there was ever any hype on them. Come to think of it, I had never heard of K100's until Saturday LOL!!!

K100's work great with Marshall voiced amps in the right cabinet. There's something magical about them, but you have to learn to dial in with your ears instead of your eyes :D

It kind of blew me away that several metal guys liked the Bones more for their style, was not expecting that but do understand it.

Your Cameron mod through that cab was awesome

Actually I don't think there were any k100's at this ampfest, so I think both you and Kage haven't heard them yet :D

Your going to have to prove it, even Larry hated how his amp sounded through those speakers :D

Fuck, haven't even heard the NATAS and now I fucking want one. Thanks Kage.

Very pleased to hear everyone enjoyed the Natas. Keep in mind the Natas you guys played is the prototype and the final version will be even better :m17:

and yes, those K100s do blow

I have a bunch more, but my phone camera sucks the big one.
They all came out grainy and blurry.

Did anyone take any video?
Not that I'm aware of.
But I do think that is a good thing too.
No video camera without synced audio through a board would do any of those amps justice.
They sound so damn huge in the room, I think a video of them would have made them sound not so good.
Trust me, they all killed.

I'm sorry, but you can't have an ampfest like this and not shoot video. I don't care how crappy the audio might be!! :gethim:

Had the Q3 but just did not feel like pulling it out and screwing around, too many guys were in line to check the amps out and well I was having too much fun hanging.

I have all I need to know :D
