Ampfest in Oklahoma? Kemper Profiling amp

Hey folks, long time no see. Been busy with two new bands and all sorts of stuff. Recently had myself added to the list for the Kemper Profiling Amp and they are allegedly going to be in next week. :)

So if the thing actually comes in, was wondering if we might want to put together an ampfest. I have room in my house and a few amps to check out if anyone wants to - and of course, get others to bring some amps and we can check them out and see if this profiler gizmo is cool or not. I also have an Axe FX standard, but that's yesterday's tech. :)

List of my 'noteworthy' amps that might be fun for someone to play through, or check the Kemper's ability at copying:

72 Marshall 100 watt superlead (with two matching stock cabs)

Anyone interested? Also looking for folks with cool amps that live within a few hours of me that I can come visit with the Kemper and profile their amps :)

Wow , I just watched the Kemper demo from last year's NAMM. . Talk about the ultimate guitarist/techie's toy! Ha.. .

Hung with Pete and still feel I owe him something from the great time I had, awesome burgers and beer and his house is in fact full of gear. It is EVERYWHERE.

I highly recommend if Pete is throwing out the welcome mat to hit that shit up.
 
Sounds fun. Please, document this event with quality audio!!! Curious if that Kemper amp can deliver the goods.

I'm in Tulsa. I have enough cabs if anyone wanted to bring any cool amps I probably have a decent speaker set to pair it with - have a couple of bone stock '72 Marshall cabs w/pulsonic cones, a '76 Marshall with blackback celestions, Mesa armored recto oversize, slant Bogner 4x12, even a couple of Marshall G75 loaded cabs. :)

Cross your fingers, will find out Tuesday if Kemper is full of crap on the latest ship date. I am really curious about this thing and if it's the real deal, could be pretty awesome for guitarists in general. The profiles can be emailed/shared, so I could document all my amps and send em to a friend with a Kemper.

It only takes a snapshot of the settings you have it set for - it won't, for example, model say a trainwreck amp and allow you to clean up with the volume control as easily. But you can take the snapshot of the dialed in amp tone and add/remove gain, EQ, etc... we'll see how it goes.

Im near Tulsa, I'd be interested, I've got a Pre-gear Quick Rod w/ KT77s, got a buddy with some killer Marshalls that might be down for it
 
i am in D/FW, but would love to come up for an ampfest. i can bring a herbert and an ultra lead. i have an fja modded single recto and an fja modded 6505 too. really wanna hear what the kemper will do. and i can bring a jager machine and other fun stuff. would love to meet you and hopefully get blessedadversary there too.
