Hey Dave,

My rig is similar to one of the set-ups you did for Steve Stevens. Your work has been an inspiration I might add.

Basically, I've got a rack all neatly wired to some d-mount panels with the plugs I need to interface with my pedal board. At this point I built all the cables of the same length, a couple midi cables, a few guitar cables running in/out of v-guitar, etc. The only AC power I use on the pedal board is for the v-guitar. I bundled everything except the AC plug into some wrap, and have a nice little snake with 6 patch points on each end.

My question is, have you ever thought about using, or foresee any issues with using, a 39-pin Amphenol connector, so there's there's only one connector for me to tie into on the pedal board and the rack? My thought was to use Mogami snake cable. Would running AC through the snake mess with the line signals?

Thanks for your advice!

Yeah but it's easy to just replace or get a midi cable or audio cable in a pinch. That why I don't. It is a clean way to do it though. Not ac though.
