I was always turned off by the Friedman logo. Not the name - just the way it looked (the font).

I saw some German artist who cut his Marshall logo so that it just said "arsh", which is almost identical to the German Arsch (ass).

And I saw a picture taken in Metallica HQ where Kirk Hammett had one of his Randall logos cut to say "dull"

If it sounds great and if it doesn't scream to the world "I'm [Artist X]'s sig amp", it's fine to me.

I bought the Friedman JJ but not because it is played by Jerry Cantrell (although I do like AIC) but because it sounds awesome.
