ok, lets forget about the MArshall clones, and moded marshall amps etc etc....

What amps are out there right now with their own voicing, love em or hate them, but something DIFFERENT?

Fenders
Marshalls
Mark series
Diezels
Bogners
Vox AC30
Sodano SLO
Engl

In the the high gain arena the difference is subtle. All the boutique amps and crazy mods are great but not worlds apart. I listen to Olas YouTube page and everyone of the amps he demos sound great but not a huge difference. Are there any secrets left in the high gain world. I guess a vox sounds different than anything else. Truly its own sound

I vote the two high gain makers that dominate different and unique. DAR and FORTIN all the way

Mako, the Dorado is pretty unique

Not really an amp maker per say but my Salvation Chupacabra is an original high gain module for the Randall MTS series. It is very brutal, and clear!!!

Soldano SLO sounds like nothing else. And don't call it a Marshall clone!

And this. I think the perceived differences in high gain ignore differences in the fingers/guitar/cab/speakers being used.
