An apology for my grumpiness and bad language

I don't like being grumpy and using bad language when I'm annoyed. Particularly about political issues.

I apologise for it and regret being like that. It's not nice behaviour. I would prefer to be thought of as a nice person - not a grumpy one. I will try to be a better person.

Fair enough. Maybe remember this the next time you feel a full unhinged tirade against my country coming and try and understand we just want to fix the fucked up system here.
 
I turned off the news years ago because I got tired of being angry all the time while knowing the presented narrative is packed full of hyperbole designed to enrage and divide. It's programming.

I haven't changed my opinion of what the US did to us here however I do apologise for the way I said it. Yes I understand the need to fix things up however I don't like that it has to be at our expense. Hopefully that was said nicely enough.

OT political stuff brings out the worst in people. Everyone here is guilty of it.
Even so we are lucky to be able to say whatever we want within reason, we would all likely get along fine if we all got together and knew nothing about each other..

Good on you @Thumbpicker :yes:

I've tried over the years to be a happier person, both here and in real life, but it isn't always easy. Our OT policies are a bit of a win/lose in that regard. I 100% enjoy our (mostly) free speech here, but also know it can bring out the worst in all of us. Political shit will do that anyway. :dunno:

PS: So glad we (Monkey Man and the Mods) got this place cleaned up a few years ago because it was so toxic it was almost unbearable.

...and this is why I rarely ever comment on political threads here. :ROFLMAO: I read, I have opinions, but I rarely ever say anything.

Seriously though, at the end of the day we could all probably hang out and have a beer without killing each other. Peeps tend to want to get bent out of shape over this crap, on both sides, when we just really need more common ground to work with.
