This was a few doods drinkin', and playing geetars.

Bob produced this whole thing on the fly too.

That is indeed a nice Kramer. I had a Kramer Pacer which I sold to my buddy. One of the best guitars I have owned. Got the Van Halen Baretta model after that and it turned out to be a real turd. Not even close to that Pacer.

i had a 86 baretta pointy, and that thing was fun to solo with. I got a nice sum for it though....so that was cool. But always wanted to try a pacer?

Hey Steve that Kramer is happening.
It really is a killer. After we were done with that mini tune, we were just doing some low gain/clean playing with that Kramer through my Axe-FX-VHT 2/50/2 rig with a nice Brownface patch, rolling off the volume and using the single coils (Suhr Fletcher Landau's) and it sounded real sweet...
Steve

What bridge pick up is that in there?
It is a Motor City Pickups BlissterBucker with A2 magnets...

Where the hell did you get that Kramer??? I call dibbs if you ever part with it!
THis guy at work just gave it to me because he didn't use it and he knew I liked 80s guitars. To be honest though, the only part that came from the original guitar is the body. Everything else, I put into it... had the neck made, etc...

Steve

That was cool  I like how you put the vid together. Wish I knew how to do that

Thanks for the comments guys!

Great bass sound!

How did you record it?

Why, thank you! I used my B.C. Rich Bastard (i.e. custom cut body (unfinished) with a B.C. neck) which is loaded with a Bartolini, into a Sansamp RBI, direct. I'm retooling my bass rig and have a power amp arriving today to use with the Sansamp and my SWR Goliath III 4x12 cab. I've gone through a Sansamp based rig, to a GK 800RB, to an SVT III Pro rig (non-tube), back to the GK (it's light and portable), and now I'm back to the Sansamp. I absolutely love the versatility and sound of the RBI, even direct if need be.

No doubt, a day of pure fun!!!!

Bob produced this whole thing on the fly too.

Yeah, but at the cost of remembering to play some guitar! :) But, I knew it would probably play out that way anyway because juggling the audio and video tasks uses all but one available brain cycle, and it takes two cycles to play guitar.

That was awesome! That was my favorite video you have put together to date. Great playing!

Thank you! Out of curiosity, what about this video puts it above the others?

The composition, playing and video quality all together. It just seems to get better each time. I like them all but this one just hit me. I always watch your videos everytime you post. Good stuff!

Very cool, and thanks again.

Here's a cool pic of Steve and Mick's guitars.

Steve....who made the neck for ya? Birdseye on a Kramer would rule!

I don't think it's a good idea to recommend the guy because he screwed up the Floyd shelf big time and I had to get another guy to fix it, but it is a helluva nice piece of wood. Fat as hell...

Steve

Just now checking this out...that was cool. Like Guthrie without the hair. You can figure out if that is an insult or complement, but I think it rocked.

some good licks and some killer guitars on that vid!
