As much as a metalhead I was growing up, I always loved moody new wave and it's evolution into pop and this band was amazing then and has proven to be pretty timeless in it's quality. Plus they are a real band and play live like true musicians can. Even pop back then, the bands were usually pretty on the money live.

Their voices still sound great after all these years

That sounded great!! I never knew one of the singers played guitar in that song and always assumed it was a studio hire. Always loved that song.

My non-Metal fanboi group is Depeche Mode. As much as I'm a headbanger and listen to everything from Zeppelin to Slipknot and beyond and dabble in some other music, I can listen to absolutely any song by them. Like you said, that moody new wave stuff just gets me. I think alot of it has to do with growing up in Europe during that time too and all of my sister's friends looking like members of the Cure.

Good stuff! Grew up with these guys on the radio...brings back so many memories!

New Order’s Bizarre Love Triangle will have me singing in the car better than any Dio song...lol

Yeah i was into Death Metal and Thrash back then but still loved this band along with Duran Duran my friends all thought i was crazy.

Another awesome band!! I remember loving their stuff growing up and then years later really digging the album did when they got back together. They had that song "Come Undone" and "Ordinary World". People laugh Duran Duran off but all of the "Taylors" in that band were damn good musicians. Power Station came out of that band. Some great bass lines in so many of those songs.
